I’ve going as long as I can remember. They started about the time my parents bought my mom’s house. Oh my, how it has changed over the years. From a few crafty artists around the parking lot, to 240 fine art artists spread over half the park.
For those who know me in person, my little luck charm ceramic sailboat necklace, came from an art festival many, many years ago. I think I was in preschool. We need not determine how long ago that was.
The weather was lovely, a little warm in the sun, but there a nice cool breeze and no rain. June can be a bit of an icky month in Northwest Ohio, when it rains it get muggy.
I love to go and walk around and look over everything. I could quite happily spend a lot of money there. If I could get my act together on setting up these WP sites I could also drum up a lot business, one artist actually shuttered when I asked if she had a website.
I admit to grabbing every business card, postcard and brochure I could find in in case I need them for any school projects and just to see what different ideas people have.
I wish I could have taken pictures of some of my favorites, but most of the artists don’t like that. I can’t blame them.
I took few pictures of the festival:

Some of the Performing Artists
I admit I never paid too much to the performances before. Buth these guys were kind of interesting to hear and watch.

Art Festival Tents
They arranges the tents around the gardens so it gets a little jumbled; sometimes it is hard to tell where yo have been and where you haven’t.
I tried to take some pictures of flowers, but honestly my camera isn’t really designed for that.
