Joanne Rawson started her first online t-shirt shop with Cafe Press in 2005. Keeping to the whimsical and humorous her designs cover themes such as; Crazy Cat Lady Museum Exhibits, Superhero Families, LOL Humans, Celtic Pride and anything she deems absurd enough for a t-shirt design. She continues to design t-shirts for her shops with Cafe Press, Zazzle and Skreened.
In 2008, Joanne returned to school to study Graphic Art, she is attending Owens Community College. She graduated, with honors, in December of 2012. Although she could only attend part time, she considered going back to school an adventure, but now it is time to get to work.
Joanne is currently creating her artwork with Illustrator, PhotoShop and InDesign, but feels comfortable with learning new software. “Software comes and goes, what is important is the ability to adapt and apply design to any medium.”
Joanne also enjoys more traditional art forms from photography, sketching to painting and printmaking. She also enjoys creative writing, cooking and baking. “Results vary, but the fun of just trying something new is its own reward.”
